We are looking to add a Data Specialist to our group. This position is essential to the creation of ad hoc reports, statistical analyses of a wide range of topics, and the utilization of both structured and unstructured data from current sources. Regular dashboard creation, report writing, data visualization, and data analysis to find trends and patterns are all included in the responsibilities. The Data Specialist will work independently, planning, refining, and painstakingly recording SQL procedures for a range of topic areas.
Assuming this role, you will be:
- Entering, reviewing, and processing different kinds of data.
- creatively collecting, organizing, evaluating, and sifting both structured and unstructured data in order to spot areas that could use improvement.
- Creating and putting into practice data security procedures, guaranteeing the transmission of private data, and maintaining SQL language for efficient data management.
- Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for data management, as well as using reporting software to generate exports.
- Carrying out quality control assessments on data sets and skillfully supervising a workload that includes several tasks and projects.
- Implementing design updates and managing and maintaining SQL databases to guarantee project completion on schedule.
- Working both individually and as a team, providing support when needed and asking for assistance when needed.
- Exhibiting competence in data management and paying close attention to detail.
- Following and comprehending environmental and water quality regulations, tracking deliverables and deadlines, managing data in accordance with established SOPs, and maintaining thorough documentation.
Proficiency and prerequisites:
- It is essential to have proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and Reporting Services/Business Intelligence tools (such as Telerik, SSRS).
- With excellent verbal and writing communication abilities.
- Personable, meticulous, and dedicated to upholding high standards of quality.
- Possessing knowledge or experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is advantageous.
- It is preferred if you have experience with Telerik and SSRS as well as other business intelligence and reporting tools.
